''a very good letter, There weren't grammatical errors''. The language was good and unaffected. It was not very long, but very good sense, warm attachment, liberality, propriety. It isn't the style of a woman. Too strong an concise: not diffuse enough for a woman.
- What is Emma's opinion of the writer of the letter?
A sensible man ''Thinks strongly and clearly''. His thoughts naturally find proper words. Virgorous, decided, with sentiments to a certain point, not coarse.
